Can you imagine uploading multiple files one by one to an online form? That sounds pretty frustrating, right? Considering how challenging it is to capture new leads on your form and how time works against you, you need a quick and easy solution for bulk file uploads.
Allowing users to upload multiple files at once, ensures better engagement with your forms, reducing the chances of users abandoning the process. Our File Uploads add-on offers just that!
Besides an easy setup, you also have a variety of file upload settings including file type selection, file limits, maximum and minimum file size, and much more. But for now, let’s get to what you came here for — uploading files in bulk.
How to allow bulk file uploads in WordPress forms?
What will you need? Two things: our free core plugin and our file uploads plugin. You can download the free Ninja Forms plugin from the WordPress repository or our pricing page. The File Uploads add-on can be purchased from this page.
Once you install the File Uploads plugin, you will get access to a File Upload field (Select Files) within the Ninja Forms form builder. It is a button that allows users to upload files. However, users can also drag and drop files from their computer to the form without the need to click on the Select Files button.
Now if you click on the Select Files file upload field, it will display multiple field settings. The one you want to pay attention to is the File Limit under the Restrictions section.
To allow multiple file uploads, set the limit higher than the number of files you expect users to upload. This means if you want to allow 15 files to be uploaded at the same time, you need to ensure the limit is set above 15.
That’s it! Have you thought bulk file uploads to your WordPress forms could be this quick? Probably not, but that’s the reality with our efficient file upload plugin.
