As a WordPress creative, you know that submission management is one of the often-overlooked pain points that come with building and maintaining client sites. Very few methods for handling your client’s form submissions exist. Usually, they include one of the following solutions:
- manually logging into your client’s WordPress website to regularly check on form submissions;
- teaching your client submission management; or
- submission notifications leave you or your client on the receiving end of an excessive number of submission emails.
None of those solutions are ideal, and each one ends up being a major time suck.
With Scheduled Submissions Export add-on can create hourly, daily, or weekly emailable submission digests that can be managed from one central location. So, say goodbye to the old days of manual submission checks, password requests, client training, and excessive submission notifications.
How to create Scheduled Submission Exports for WordPress
To get up and running with the Scheduled Submissions Export add-on, you need to do two things: first, enable the scheduled export for the form, and second, configure the date and time of the export. That’s it!
Step 1. Build the Scheduled Exports
You can find the Scheduled Exports builder through the Schedule Export settings or by navigating to your form > Advanced > Scheduled Exports.
To add the scheduled export, click the blue/+ next to the ADD NEW button. Afterward, select the export schedule by choosing the hourly, daily, or weekly option you configured in the global settings. Next, add an email address to the To field and include a subject in the Subject field.
Click Done and Publish/Save. You can add as many scheduled exports as needed. Create hourly, daily, and even weekly exports to meet the needs of your stakeholders.
Step 2. Configure the Scheduled Export’s settings
Now that the scheduled export has been created, the next step is to specify the export settings. This can be achieved by navigating to Ninja Forms > Scheduled Exports settings.
Here you will find the one-stop shop for scheduled export management. From here you can, control when the export will run. Manage who will receive the export, and when. As well as make edits too. All from one centralized location.
Use the Forms with scheduled exports dashboard to manage all your form exports from a single location rather than remembering what form contains what scheduled export.
To enter your form’s scheduled export, click the “edit” link. The link will redirect you to the form builder. From here, navigate to Advanced > Scheduled Exports to create your scheduled submission export.
