1. Create your Quote Request WordPress form template

2. Easily assign values to the questions that matter

The key to accurate quotes lies in the questions you ask. You can do this by tailoring your form to capture these crucial details by adding a form field for each question. After that, assign a ‘Calc Value‘ to each field, reflecting the dollar amount it contributes to the overall quote.

Note that you’ll need to have Dev Mode enabled to see the Calc Value settings. It’s not as scary as it sounds 😉

For instance, you might assign values of $100, $150, and $300 for servicing residential, commercial, and industrial properties respectively.

If you need users to enter specific measurements themselves, for example, square feet, you can do that too:

In the next step, we’ll add up all the ‘Calc Values‘ you’ve assigned to each question. This will give us the total, which you will then use as your estimate.

3. Calculate the total quote request

4. Display or send your quote to the new customer!

Email the Quote to the Customer

Every WordPress form you create has the ability to send emails. Navigate to the Emails & Actions tab, choose or add the email notification that goes to the customer, and incorporate the calculation value into the email action!

Furthermore, you can create a PDF of the entire quote request form, including the final quote, and attach it to the email. This capability requires the PDF Form Submissions add-on, allowing you to generate PDF versions of any form submission for sending or exporting.
