When you purchase a Ninja Forms membership or add-on license, that license covers premium support and updates for one year.
A subscription is created for you at time of purchase and is linked to your license. As long as you maintain an active subscription, it will automatically renew your license at the end of the one-year period that the license is valid for.
Viewing your subscriptions & subscription status
In your NinjaForms.com account page, click on the Subscriptions tab. This will open a list of all your subscriptions.
The status of the subscription is recorded in the Status column. There are two statuses:
- Active: your subscription is active and will automatically renew your license on the day it would otherwise expire
- if you want to check or update the payment method that will be charged on renewal, click the Update Payment Method option from the Actions column. See here for more details.
- Cancelled: your subscription has been cancelled and will not renew your license. Your license will expire on its expiration date unless manually renewed.
Cancelling, Reactivating, or Renewing a Subscription
Cancel
If you would like to cancel any subscription, just locate the subscription and click Cancel:
Note that your license will now expire on the expiration date unless you manually renew it before then. You may manually renew a license under the License Keys tab of your NinjaForms.com account page. You will be unable to receive support or updates for expired licenses.
Reactivate
If you previously cancelled your subscription but don’t want to have to remember to manually renew, you can reactivate for free at any point before the license expires. Just click Reactivate:

If your license has expired but you would like to renew both the license and subscription, just click Renew:
