Every new add-on, whether purchased individually or as part of a membership, comes with a one-year license that covers expedited support and automatic updates.
To receive automatic updates, it’s important that you have your License Key entered for each add-on on your WordPress website.
Where can I find my License Key?
License Keys can be found in your NinjaForms.com Accounts area under the License Keys tab.
If you purchased a membership, you’ll see the name of the membership listed here along with an alphanumeric string of characters immediately below it. That’s your License Key for all add-ons that are a part of this membership.
If you purchased an individual add-on you’ll see the same thing, but with the name of the add-on instead of the membership. In that case, the License Key you see will be for that add-on only. If you have multiple add-ons purchased individually, each will have their own unique License Key.
Note that you can also click Manage Sites to check and see what, if any, of your websites already have this License Key in use on it.
Copy your License Key and, in your WordPress website, navigate to Ninja Forms > Settings > Licenses tab:
Paste the key into the field next to the add-on you want to activate and click the Activate button.
Any time an update is available for a licensed add-on, WordPress will now let you know.
I have a membership, but it lists a different License Key for each add-on in the membership?
All memberships purchased on or before 2018 are based on an older licensing format that uses individual keys for each add-on in the membership. If you’ve been with us that long, first, thank you! We love that so many of you have stuck with us all these years 🙂
If it’s time for an upgrade, see the View Upgrades link next to Manage Sites, pictured above. There you’ll see options for upgrading to the closest modern equivalent of your current membership at a price that includes a prorated discount.
