When it comes to creating a form that you can use for your contact form, you’ve likely found a lot of options. There are a lot of form plugins out there.
But that’s not why I’m writing this review. Because I don’t create a lot of simple forms that simply collect three pieces of information. The projects I’ve worked on require more. And that’s where Ninja Forms stands out.
Every other form plugin integrates with MailChimp. But when I need integration with other mail providers like ConvertKit, not everyone has an extension for it. Extensions take time to create, and more importantly, expense to maintain. Ninja Forms has more than just one extension, they have tons. To connect Ninja Forms to just about anything. And that’s where the real power comes in.
Take for example the need to create an integration between Recurly for subscription pricing, and a WordPress site – which I had to do. Could I have written a lot of code to connect the dots? Sure. But I didn’t need to. They have an extension for Recurly that made it a series of clicks.
Did I mention their support? When I found a bug in one of their extensions, they replied back in hours and released a new version the next day with a patch. I can’t say enough good things about the team and the product.

I have used Ninja forms for several years, and I am just now learning that Ninja forms can pre-fill a form with user data already saved in someone’s WordPress profile. That way, if I want to have a field for a user to type their email address, I can pre-fill it with the email I have saved for them, but give them the option to change it.
Ninja Forms can also accept query strings from a URL, which means that if you are using it to gather leads from an ad campaign, you can program it to record what keyword people searched on google before filling out your form.

Ninja Forms is a simple, eloquent form builder that is a delight to use. Its minimalist yet beautiful interface is simple enough for anyone to learn quickly and easily, while still being more than powerful enough for any professional. There’s also the added benefit of full mobile responsiveness, meaning I can create or edit my forms anywhere, on my own time. I’d highly recommend it to anyone.

As a developer I love how easy it is to customize Ninja Forms. It’s built in a modular form so at any point you can inject your own programming and change the output. If you need to add a hook for some custom logic you can suggest it on GitHub or send a pull request yourself and it will quickly be merged into the main plugin. All round there isn’t a better form plugin for developers or anyone really.

After trying all of the WordPress form plugins, we landed on Ninja Forms as our “go to” choice. Ninja Forms integrates with all of the popular 3rd party platforms and then some. The UI is easy to use and perfect for users at all skill levels. The plug-in is a great match for our agency since we can extend it to match our custom-developed sites. If you are searching for the right form plug-in, look no further!

Awesome support with a personal touch!
I am a ‘free’ user of Ninja Forms. I have a small two-person business (only one is working) in the financial/banking industry. It’s more of a hobby but generates some income to supplement my pension. My website is self-built, and Ninja Forms is a critical part of it. I have complex forms tied to ‘Conditional Logic’, which automates my administrative work. Ninja Forms has become indispensable to me.
I recently encountered a formatting challenge and contacted Ninja Forms for help. As a free user, I did not expect a fast turnaround time and, probably, a generic response that would have left me with a half-solution. Man o’ man. They surprised me!!
Sam at Ninja Forms (give that man a Bell’s) found the problem, gave me a full workup on how to fix it (OK, I had to do it manually on my side), and included a nice ‘turn of phrase’ which is specific to my country. (I’m in Africa). He made me feel like I have family in Ninja Forms.
There are not enough star options to accurately reflect my satisfaction. I would give 200% for technical assistance, 200% for going beyond what I expected, and 200% for the warm and intuitive manner in Sam’s dealings with, essentially, a stranger on the other side of the planet.
If I could say one word about Ninja Forms support, it would be…
… Wow!!!

I took over a complex website that was using a very, very old version of Ninja Forms and after updating to the latest version we had a number of issues. Ninja support have been really helpful and very quick with their response. Great service, thank you guys.
Don’t think just buy
I was a little apprehensive in buying this plug-in. I know enough code to be dangerous and thought gosh I don’t need that I can make forms no problem. However, writing code was a reason to put off work. So eventually I tested several similar plug-ins before arriving at Ninja Forms. Realized Ninja forms does so much more than just simple forms. I can create all kinds of conditional forms, users can save their progress, track their progress, upload files, the sky is the limit. This plug-in since has literally TRANSFORMED my business. I can now send my new client application to people who fill it out online and it get’s emailed to myself and my team to start work. All AUTOMATICALLY with Ninja Forms. I bought the developer pack at $300 and change just because I figured I’d need it for several of my websites. It has literally saved me from having to hire a couple employees. This is a life changing plug-in for me.
