There are certain points in the life of business or product that are obvious milestones; these landmarks are moments upon which you can look back with pride at how far you’ve come. I think it’s important to celebrate these moments and what got you there in the first place.
Practically, these milestones could be anything. Perhaps hitting a Sales or download goal. Even now that our monthly sales are much higher, I still remember when we broke $10,000. Heck, I remember when we broke $2,000. It was exhilarating and was the first time we felt like we might have a real business. It could be launching a new version of your product; Ninja Forms 2.0 changed everything for us. It was a long road, but it was so worth it. It paved the way for us to have the product we have today.
Sometimes, these milestones are more ephemeral. They don’t have numbers attached to them, and their impact can be hard to quantify in a spreadsheet. This doesn’t make them any less real or transformational, though. Like when a well respected developer in the WordPress community reviews your product and says, “That’s not terrible.” I’m looking at you, Pippin. The truth is he did much more than that for us, but having his approval helped to shore our doubts about our own abilities. Now, we are extremely grateful to call him a friend.
Today we announce another one of those landmark moments for the WP Ninjas and Ninja Forms.
If you’re reading this, you probably already know about StudioPress, their fabulous Genesis framework, and their gorgeous themes. They are one of the first and most popular premium WordPress theme businesses currently in existence and still going very strong. If you aren’t familiar with them, go check them out right now. http://www.studiopress.com. I’ll wait…see? Pretty awesome, huh?
While you were there, did you take a look at their theme demos’ contact pages? If you didn’t, go check again. Over the past month or so, they have transitioned to using Ninja Forms for their example contact pages. They’ve just finished transitioning all of their Pro themes. Yup. StudioPress is using Ninja Forms on their theme demos.
Whenever a company like StudioPress uses your product, it’s a huge honor and validates the work you’ve been doing. We just want to say a huge thank you to Brian Gardner and the whole StudioPress team for having confidence in Ninja Forms. We are so proud to mark this as one of those defining milestones and look forward to what the future holds.
Feel free to discuss this in the comments below but enough about us. You should head over to StudioPress.com and check out some themes.
