Updates to Ninja Forms
Ninja Forms is continually evolving and improving! Here’s some noteworthy samples of what was added and tweaked this month. For a full list, see our changelog on WordPress.org!
- Gutenberg is right around the corner! We’re continuing to tweak the new Ninja Forms Gutenberg block that we released in February. Your feedback on these changes is invaluable to us, so if you have a test environment, take it for a spin and share your thoughts with us!
- Calculations no longer make hidden fields visible.
- Rolling back from 3.0 then converting back will no longer carry over old 3.0 data (only 2.9 data as intended)
- “Remove all Ninja Forms data upon uninstall” under the Ninja Forms > Settings > Advanced has been changed to a button with confirmation dialogue.
- Added a way to access “trashed submissions” under Submissions for restoration or more immediate deletion.
New Additions to the Ninja Forms Add-On Library
We’re working hard to bring you the tools you need to succeed. New add-ons are developed based on user demand, so let us know what else needs to be on our development radar for the future!
This month we are bringing you you two brand new additions to the Ninja Forms extension library: ConvertKit and IntelligenceWP (discontinued). ConvertKit is the newest addition to our family of CRM add-ons, while Intelligence makes conversion tracking for your forms in Google Analytics easy and pain-free.

Add-on Updates
Like the core plugin, we’re working to make your integrations and add-ons better every day. Here are some highlights from that process this month.

- Migrated password fields from Ninja Forms core, where they are now deprecated.

- Resolved an issue that was causing the plugin to always appear as if an update was available, and added a check to catch fatal errors caused by bad API responses

- Resolved an issue that sometimes caused inactive Stripe actions to still be processed on submit. Using Conditional Logic to select which Stripe action to fire should now work properly.

- Resolved an issue that was sometimes causing the Recurly checkout to not open on submit.

- Updated User Analytics to be compatible with the 3.0 codebase.
