February 2022 has been deemed the month of “Wordle“. What started out as a social media idea, turned into a fun team activity.
We’ve been sharing scores with one another as well as providing encouragement for those ticky-solve days. Even team members who thought they wouldn’t be interested got in on the action.
If you are part of a distributed team working across several time zones like ours, you should give Wordle a try. I highly recommend it.

For those of you not familiar with WordFest let me give you the rundown. WordFest is a free 24-hour virtual festival, that spans several time zones. It’s an event that celebrates the community of WordPress, with sessions that focus on remote working, podcasting, mental health, and you guessed it, WordPress.
Even though this event was created by seasoned WordCamp organizers, it remains independent as it is used as a vehicle to subsidize and raise awareness for the Big Orange Heart, a non-profit that supports mental health and well-being for remote workers.
