June is the start of the vacation season at Saturday Drive. Many of our team members take extended time off to be with their families, travel to new countries, or get some much-needed R & R.
I joined in by taking a few days off to hang out with my two-year daughter while my husband was out of town. My daughter and I spent time at the local splash pad, went to library playtime, hung out with the grandparents, and went swimming. I was exhausted by the time Monday rolled around but I had a renewed sense of closeness with my daughter that I had been missing.
I feel so privileged that Saturday Drive provides me the opportunity and resources to take time off when I need it. It allows me to take a step back and really be present for the other things that matter in life, like my daughter. If you’ve been saving up your PTO for that “special occasion”, don’t wait. That time is now. Give yourself permission to take a break and just be present. It will renew you.

Work Anniversaries
🥳 River celebrates his 2nd year with Saturday Drive Inc as our Website Administrator ( “Company Scapegoat”) and Design Specialist.
Although he has only been an employee for two years, he has been with the company much longer. River started out as an intern while in high school. He continued interning throughout college and then was later hired on as one of our Customer Success Specialists. Now he is putting that college education to good use as our Website Administrator and we couldn’t be happier.
⏰ How I integrate work into my day
I am currently located in EST. I typically work 8:30 am – 4:30 pm or later depending on how much work I was unable to accomplish. I typically will work from home two-three days a week or at Bonlife, the local coffee shop, two-three days a week. I don’t know what my future holds but I know I’ll always have something on the sidelines that is artsy, bizarre, and fun.
🥳 James Laws celebrates his 11th year as CEO and Co-Founder of Ninja Forms / Saturday Drive
James has been leading teams for over 20 years. First as a Pastor and ministry director and now as a business owner. He started his first business when I was 18. It was a t-shirt company called Turtle & Hare Designs. He filled the DBA and that was the first and last official thing that business ever did 😂
Perhaps his most interesting job was for a whole month he sold vacuum cleaners door to door. William Shatner was the host of the onboarding videos.
⏰ How I integrate work into my day
I work a pretty traditional schedule at the moment. Usually 8:30am to 3:00pm. The remaining time is divided between snippets of time in the evening or over the weekend. I allow for all kinds of personal or professional interruptions to my day and easily modify my schedule to make up work as needed.
🥳 Kevin Stover celebrates his 11th year as C3PO and Co-Founder of Ninja Forms / Saturday Drive
As Co-Founder Kevin has worked in many capacities at Ninja Forms but his latest role is as the Chief of People). As the new Chief of People, he will primarily be involved in the development and implementation of leadership training, as well as the usual human resource-related tasks. We are excited that Kevin has taken on this new role, and can’t wait to see what he comes up with.
Fun fact, Kevin loves history. He loves history so much that he almost earned a Ph.D. in history. If you see Kevin on the interwebs, feel free to give him a shoutout and I don’t know, maybe start a discussion about the history 🤓

I have a WordPress web site (pikespeakpostal.com) that uses Ninja forms. Been successful for several events. Today we started a new event and the Ninja forms plugin updated after we had successfully tested everything. Now we have a critical error that prevents WordPress from working. I have used the tools from WordPress and can see that the Ninja plugin in deactivated. How can I get back to the previous version of Ninja Forms?
