What’s new from Ninja Forms? The March Edition

As we conclude the month of March, let us celebrate Women’s History Month by spotlighting the remarkable women of Saturday Drive. Our team is graced with the presence of three exceptional women, including myself, and I am eager to learn the following:

  1. Who is your favorite woman from history ( or even today )?
  2. What Saturday Drive value resonates the most with you and why?

What Saturday Drive value resonates the most with you and why?
Whenever I’m asked this I find it difficult to choose. So I will pick “People First.” I love that I work for a company filled with people who care about people. It doesn’t mean we get it right all the time. It doesn’t mean we have perfected the value. It just means that at the heart of things we have owners who want their team to feel seen…and I might add heard. It’s the target on the bullseye. We want to take care of each other.

Who is your favorite woman from history ( or even today )? I had a couple of women come to mind so today I’ll talk about Ella Fitzgerald. I love music, I love singing…Ella and I have that in common and who could ask for anything more. She came from very modest means as did I, though I would never want to lay claim to anything about my childhood being as difficult as hers.

She grew up during the Great Depression basically looking out for herself. I admire her because she reminds me of the lovely Mockingbird who is able to mimic so many sounds and songs but at the same time is capable of creating their very own unique and mesmerizing tune.

She is a person who is an example of having so many reasons to become bitter by the hardships of her life but instead she sang them out, kept a smile and who knows how many lives she changed for the better when they came in contact with her or her voice…she changed mine.

Who is your favorite woman from history ( or even today )? My mum. She went through a lot in her life and she is definitely a warrior. Besides many other things, just raising 5 children who turned out pretty darn good deserves huge respect!

But not to give a cheesy answer…I admire the creative design and I like to spread the word about my small but beautiful home country, so I choose Petra Toth to be my favorite woman today. She is a bold, creative, and very talented Slovak jeweler and designer.

She takes her inspiration from sometimes almost forgotten Slovak folk patterns when traveling around my home country Slovakia, learns about the folk traditions, and turns them into unique, beautiful pieces of art.

The Saturday Drive value that resonates with me the most is Make it better. I hope the team agrees with me. 😁 I love exploring and trying new things at work, and I am happy to have a free hand in Ninja Forms, where I get to do what I love: Experimentation!

Sometimes the idea works and sometimes doesn’t, but if you don’t try anything new you can miss a great opportunity.

My favorite woman from history would have to be the late great RBG. My favorite quote of hers is, “Women will have achieved true equality when men share with them the responsibility of bringing up the next generation.” The Saturday Drive value that resonates the most with me is embrace fun. It’s important to bring a little levity with you wherever you go. Life is challenging as it is; why add to it?
