What is WordCamp?

WCEU 2022
This year’s WCEU takes place from June 2–4 in beautiful Porto, Portugal. Each day offers something different to look forward to. Thursday, June 2 is Contributor Day, when you can join a team and contribute to different aspects of WordPress, from coding and testing to writing and documentation. Friday, June 3 will feature sessions and topics about what you can do with WordPress right now. And finally, Saturday, June 4 is all about the future of WordPress — your chance to get ahead of the curve.
Who Can Attend?
Everyone! Besides being fun and educational, WordCamp events are inclusive. Core developers, subject matter experts, and complete WordPress newbies are all welcome and encouraged to buy tickets. Each event even offers open calls for speakers. WCEU speakerships are closed for 2022, but keep the opportunity in mind for future events if you’re knowledgeable about WordPress.

General admission tickets are affordable, intentionally kept below market value so every passionate WordPress user can attend. If you’d like to contribute to WordCamp, micro-sponsor tickets are also available, which are priced higher and help cover the actual cost of the event.
