Don’t Miss These 3 New Features for Ninja Forms

We are super excited to let you know we finally released a new version of our Ninja Forms core 3.5.5. Yay! Will this update affect your existing forms or layout? Absolutely NOT. Updating to the newest version of Ninja Forms will not affect the appearance of your forms.

There are two major components to this core update, including reCAPTCHA v3 and submission re-firing features (Bulk Form Exports & Re-sending Email).

But before you can start enjoying our new free core features, make sure you update your plugin to the newest version available by navigating to your WordPress dashboard > Plugins > Installed Plugins > Ninja Forms > Update.

Bulk Form Exports

You asked for it, and we finally delivered it! With a simple Bulk Export button, you can now export submissions from multiple forms at once. Additionally, you can select a date range form which you would like to export your forms.

Bulk Form Export

To export multiple forms at the same time:

  1. Navigate to Submissions
  2. Click the Bulk Form Exports button
  3. Select multiple forms by holding a shift key
  4. Click on the Select Dates field and choose a specific date or a date range
  5. Click Export button

After clicking the Export button, your exported file will be automatically downloaded as a CSV document.

Resend any form email(s) from past submissions

Have you ever needed to resend the email notifications for the already submitted form? Our new feature Trigger Email Action lets you do that.

To resend email notification/confirmation messages:

    1. Navigate to Submissions
    2. Select a form

reCAPTCHA v3

No more checkboxes and no more interruptions for your users! We now support reCAPTCHA v3! If you want to configure your reCAPTCHA v3 settings, head out to our  Plugin Settings.

For those who are not familiar with reCAPTCHA, it is a free security service from Google that helps protect websites from spam and abuse by malicious bots.

Today, most of the websites are still using reCAPTCHA v2, which relies on completing challenges in the form of checking a box that says “I am not a robot”, using an invisible reCAPTCHA badge, or validating if you are a human by selecting images from the reCAPTCHA box.

Using the v2 version might lead to lower conversion rates linked to user’s direct interaction on your website. The reCAPTCHA v3, on the other side, provides a better user experience by being invisible to visitors.

The reCAPTCHA v3 monitors the visitor’s behavior to determine if you are a human or a bot by returning a score between 0 and 1. Here is Google’s documentation if you would like to read more about this service.
